Your child will have (or at some point this academic year is going to have) participated in Whole Class Ensemble Tuition in school. This tuition is subsidised by Arts Council England funding and is intended to allow children to experience playing on an instrument for a minimum of 10 weeks. We hope this is an enjoyable experience for all and for some there becomes a desire to continue with music, whether that be:
learning informally
hiring an instrument
having instrumental lessons
participating in extra-curricular musical activities in school
joining a music centre / club outside of school
As we strive to ensure we understand the needs of young people and families in our county we would greatly appreciate you completing this questionnaire to help us enlighten you of the opportunities on offer from ourselves and our Hub partners and to understand the potential barriers that might prevent a young person continuing with their musical interests.
