As part of our commitment to reach Net Zero by 2030, we need to get a better idea of carbon emissions related to our highest value contracts. We currently base our calculations just on £ spend, and are looking to improve our understanding of where our contractors are on their net zero journey.

As part of our commitment to reach Net Zero by 2030, we need to get a better idea of carbon emissions related to our highest value contracts. We currently base our calculations just on £ spend, and are looking to improve our understanding of where our contractors are on their net zero journey.

  • GCC Supplier Carbon Emissions

    Gloucestershire County Council has a commitment to achieve net zero emissions. One of the largest contributions is through goods and services we procure. However, our calculations are currently based on £ spend and we would therefore like to improve our understanding of where our contractors are on their net zero journey.  

    We are therefore approaching our major suppliers such as yourselves to see if you are able to provide carbon emissions data on a voluntary basis. We will be collating the attached information- please provide as much as you are able to.
