Gloucestershire County Council currently funds local pharmacies to help people stop smoking.
However, very few people are using this service. Only 7 people used it between April 2024 and March 2025.
Because of this, the Council is thinking about ending the service from April 2026. We asked pharmacies for their views and no concerns were raised.
Before making a final decision, we want to hear what you think.
You will still be able to get free stop smoking support through the countywide Healthy Lifestyles Service and some GP practices.
If you have any views on this service not being available from April 2026 please give your feedback in this short survey. by 3pm on Friday 2 January 2026.
Thank you for your attention with this matter and we look forward to hearing from you.
