Gloucestershire County Council would like your feedback on one of our commissioned mental wellbeing support services. In 2024 we will be recommissioning Gloucestershire’s Community Advice, Links & Mental Health Support service (CALMHS) and it’s important we create services which work for our residents. Your feedback will help us to design this service in future.

What is CALMHS?

CALMHS is here to support people who are experiencing moderate to severe mental ill health in Gloucestershire. The service can be tailored to help support you to build on your strengths and to make a positive change. The service is commissioned by Gloucestershire County Council.

CALMHS provides one-to-one support to support with identifying and working towards personalised goals which can include attending groups and drop-ins.

CALMHS also works with people experiencing social isolation, lack of motivation or difficulty coping with the stress and pressures of everyday life.

How to respond

The survey should take about 10 minutes.

The survey can also be made available as a hard copy, please contact communications@gloucestershire.gov.uk or telephone 01452-427554.

The engagement survey closes on Sunday 11 June.

    Gloucestershire County Council currently commissions the CALMHS (Community, Advice, Links and Mental Health Support) Service which provides support to people with a serious mental illness or common mental health condition such as anxiety or depression.  

    The service supports people to access support for their mental health and wellbeing within their local communities and access the right services and advice at the time they need it. 

    The current contract comes to an end in March 2024, and we want to hear your feedback on the proposed changes for the new service starting on 1 April 2024.

    The survey closes on Sunday 11 June.
