ATS and TALC survey

Firstly, thank you all for your much appreciated input into the recent TALCs and the follow up work you have undertaken with the CYP / schools; I have had some really great, positive feedback on ATS input, especially around the following, which are at the heart of the TALC process:

  • Demonstration of child-centred practice;
  • putting the CYP and their needs first, not process;
  • ‘thinking outside the box’ for the CYP;
  • being flexible / adaptable to CYP’s individual needs (and schools’ needs);
  • supporting schools to take the steps they need, ‘holding their hands’ where needed.

Thank you all so much for this and for the difference you are helping to make through this.

ATS will remain a vital key partner in the TALCs moving forwards and after Easter there will be a change in the number of TALCs in response to need and demand. TALCs will also develop in line with the PLINCs and SLINCs model and so will become a core part of our work through the JAHNTP.

Given we are now a few months in, I wanted to take this opportunity to hear from you all about your experience so far to help input into the shape of the TALCs for after Easter and beyond. I would therefore be grateful if you could spend approx. 20 mins answering the questions below before the end of this term.

Thank you; much appreciated.
