Advocacy Services Commissioning Project – Staff Survey (for staff who refer to the current advocacy service provided by POhWER) Sept- Oct 2021

Gloucestershire County Council is reviewing the Health and Social Care Advocacy contract, currently provided by POhWER.

By law we are required to tender for the service at regular intervals, so we are gathering evidence that can be used to improve the current arrangements and outcomes for Gloucestershire residents as the current contract expires on 30th September 2022.

The services we are looking at are:

• Independent Health Complaints Advocacy (IHCA)
• Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA)
• Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA)
• Independent Care Act Advocacy Service (ICAA)
• Relevant Person’s Representative service (RPR) including 39D support
• Independent Social Care complaints (ISCC)
