Adult Social Care Commissioning- Market Engagement

Thank you for taking the time to complete this Gloucestershire independent care market survey

Under the Care Act 2014 we have a responsibility to both meet and fund the needs of people in the county who are eligible for care and to shape the local care market to encourage quality, choice, and sufficiency of provision. This duty applies to the whole population, including those who pay for their own care.

As the most significant event for the health and social care sector in living memory, we would really value hearing from you, to help us further understand the perspective of care businesses and frontline care workers - both in terms of the initial impact of the pandemic but also the longer term picture for the Independent Care Market and how, working together, we can resolve or at least mitigating them.

Thank you again for your time – let’s get started! It should only take you around 10 minutes to complete.

The survey will be open from Monday 13th December – Sunday 23rd January at Midnight.

Focus Group Sessions

Alongside the Engagement Survey, we will be running a course of Virtual Focus Groups facilitated by our Project Officer, and Commissioning Support Officers. This is a great opportunity to further engage and share thoughts and experiences, the option to sign up to one of these sessions will be given on the survey.

Please note: all providers can remain anonymous, however all we do ask for is an email and contact number if you wish to be part of a focus group session to arrange and send meeting link.

If you would like further details regarding Focus Group Sessions, or further assistance please contact the Project Officer via email sharon.peacey@gloucestershire.gov.uk
