Household Support Fund

Household Support Fund for Food and Essential Supplies is to support vulnerable children, young people, working age adults, older people and their families.

Eligibility

To access support from this fund you must meet the criteria in Group A, one or more of the criteria in Group B.

To assess your form quickly so you are able to get the support you need, please show your eligibility to a professional you are working with and send supporting evidence stating your name to: localsupportgrants@gloucestershire.gov.uk

If you are unclear of what to send to us, submit the form and a member of staff will contact you. Please be aware this may delay the timescale for receiving support.

Terms of Use:

By submitting this form and accepting receipt of this voucher, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions attached to the voucher.

  1. The voucher has been awarded to ensure children have access to a meal. The voucher is to be used to provide food and shall only be used by the intended recipient at the following supermarkets: Morrisons, Asda, Tesco, and Sainsburys.
  2. The voucher shall only be used to buy items for providing a meal [including beverages] in keeping with the free school meals scheme. The voucher CANNOTbe used to purchase any of the following items:
    • Alcohol, Cigarettes/Tobacco, Lottery/Gaming, Fuel/Petrol.
  3. You must submit a copy receipt(s) of your goods purchased within 5 days of fully using the voucher. A picture of the receipt can be sent and should be emailed to localsupportgrants@gloucestershire.gov.uk and should also include the voucher application reference and the name of the recipient.

Gloucestershire County Council in conjunction with our voucher partners will carry out audits on goods purchased. If you do not comply with the terms and conditions set out above, the County Council reserves the right to cancel the voucher and cancel any further vouchers to be supplied to you. Anyone found to be attempting to breach these terms and conditions will have their future accessibility to the welfare fund (and any other support) reviewed.

The County Council’s service provider Auriga will be in touch within 48 hours to arrange payments.

The food vouchers can be used multiple times (e.g. An £80 voucher could be spent on £30, £30 and £20 shops) where necessary and do not have an expiry date. You will receive food vouchers payments fortnightly as set out above.

DO NOT DELETE this as it contains the codes for the vouchers. These vouchers are validated for a year from redemption.
