Better connections for Gloucestershire
Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) is preparing an updated Local Transport Plan (LTP). This Plan will guide how transport is planned, managed and improved across the county over the next 15 years and beyond.
Gloucestershire includes a city, market towns and rural communities. Travel needs vary depending on where people live, the services available locally, and the transport options they can access. A safe, reliable and accessible transport network is essential to supporting Gloucestershire’s communities, economy and environment.

Where are we now?
We are at an early stage of updating the LTP and we want to know what you think. Completing the survey will help usto understand your experiences of the transport network today, the challenges you face when travelling, and your priorities for the future.
This includes seeking your views on the draft vision, delivery prioritiesand potential opportunities for improvements.
How will feedback be used?
Your feedback will be reviewed alongside technical evidence and stakeholder input to help develop the updated LTP and the improvements we want to make. There will be a formal public consultation on the draft Plan expected in late 2026 before it is finalised and adopted in 2027.
How long will it take?
This questionnaire should take around 10 - 20 minutes to complete depending on how much you want to tell us.
