Engagement exercise has concluded

Gloucestershire County Council is working in partnership with the University of Gloucestershire on the proposal to move the library from its current location to a more centralised and accessible building within the old Debenhams building in Kings Square.

The proposal is to develop the library offer in Gloucester with a more modern, accessible facility right in the heart of the town centre. Gloucester’s current building on Brunswick Road is based in a Victorian building which makes development and partnerships difficult.

The new space within the old department store will work closely with the University of Gloucestershire.

If you use Gloucester Library and wish to provide feedback visit https://haveyoursaygloucestershire.uk.engagementhq.com/gloucester-library-relocation-engagement/survey_tools/gloucester-library-relocation-engagement-survey

The survey can also be made available as a hard copy via post, please contact libraryhelpline@gloucestershire.gov.uk or telephone 01452 426973.

The survey closes on Friday 16 December 2022.
