Estimated Value: N/A
Description:
Gloucestershire County Council has been operating a number of Pathway 2 (P2) beds through existing provider arrangements, supporting timely hospital discharge and short-term reablement. As we look to shape the future model of care, we are now exploring wider opportunities for engagement across the Health and Social Care market in Gloucestershire.
As a local authority with statutory responsibilities under the Care Act 2014, we are committed to developing a diverse, sustainable, and high-quality care market. In line with this we are keen to better understand current and potential capacity, innovation, and appetite for partnership working in the market, specifically in the delivery of Pathway Beds.
This provides an opportunity to test new approaches, including block provision for pathway beds, integrated working, and therapy-led models, to better meet the needs of our population and system partners.
This Market Engagement (ME) aims to gather insight from providers who may be interested in working more closely with Gloucestershire County Council in the future delivery of Residential and Nursing care services for Older People, to support a refreshed Pathway 2 model. The purpose of this engagement is to inform the development of our future service specification, test market interest and capacity, and gather any new information about the market that could be useful prior to going out to tender.
If your organisation is interested in collaborating with us to shape future models of care and explore opportunities to deliver services in partnership, please complete the form below.
