Consultation has concluded
In December 2022, the DFE announced an increase in the EY funding hourly rates by 8p per hour for two-year-olds and 26p per hour for three- and four-year-olds for 2023/24. It has been agreed by School Forum to pass the full increase on to EY providers.
In respect of the increased rate for 3 & 4 year olds we have set out 3 options for the distribution of the additional 26p across the base rate and the deprivation rate. This consultation is your opportunity to tell us which of these options is your preference. Once we have analysed all responses we will adopt the option preferred by the majority of providers that responded to this consultation. We will communicate a decision to all providers by end of February 2023.
