Revised Local List for the Validation of Planning Applications (April 2023)

Gloucestershire County Council needs to update the ‘Revised Local List for the Validation of Planning Applications’. This list sets out all of the necessary information, which is required when submitting a planning application to the County Council. It applies to minerals and waste development proposals and public sector infrastructure projects on land owned by the County Council. Local Lists are an important part of the regulatory planning service and support robust, effective and efficient local decision making.

Prior to finalising the updated Local List, we are inviting comments from those involved in submitting planning applications to the County Council and from technical consultees who scrutinise and offer advice on development proposals.

A targeted, technical consultation has been established and notifications have been sent to relevant, previously registered consultees on the Minerals & Waste Policy database and to businesses who have submitted a planning application to the County Council in the recent past.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could give some consideration to this matter. Your knowledge and experience of working with the regulatory planning system will be invaluable in ensuring our updated Local List for the Validation of Planning Applications is as effective and workable as possible.

Ideally, the County Council would appreciate digitally-submitted responses using the survey below.

To ensure your comments are considered by the County Council, please make sure they are submitted by 5pm Monday 19^thJune 2023.
