Overview:

Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) are working in partnership with Cirencester Town Council (CTC) to propose improvements to parking and traffic control in Cirencester Market Place and town centre. The changes aim to create a greener and safer town centre for all users. In line with GCC, CTC and Cotswold District (CD) ambitions, the proposals also aim to reduce car dominance over the longer term and improve provisions for pedestrians and cyclists in the town centre, while maintaining safe and convenient access for all.

The proposals have been shaped by feedback received through informal engagement activities during 2021. On this webpage, you can find out what the proposals involve and view the project documentation, as well as submitting comments (representations) to us during the Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) consultation period (24 March until 14 April 2022) using the Have Your Say form at the bottom of this webpage.
